Jun 15, PM. I even tried hard reset, but my pdf files in iBooks are nowhere in icloud Drive, only the ones I have uploaded from another apps. Whenever I create a pdf file from Safari, iBooks shows the iCloud drive icon like it is syncing, but where does it go? I have enough space in iCloud.
Jul 8, AM. I was having these same issues myself but after playing around with it for a while, I believe I figured out the issue. When you open a file it gives you the option to either click "More I think once you choose to open it in iBooks with the expectation of it displaying on your iCloud Drive as told by Apple there is no way to export it to your drive. However, if you click "More I've attached photos for a better understanding and I sure hope this resolves the question being asked because it is extremely frustrating when you have a drive and sync the app to it by nothing shows up on the drive at all.
